Today, I had the honour of being one of the recipients of La Trobe University's esteemed David Myers Medal. This medal is traditionally awarded annually to two honours students; one each from the College of Science, Health, and Engineering, and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, in recognition of their academic dedication and excellence. I was fortunate enough to receive the medal alongside five other graduates due to the retrospective recognition of four students who should have received the award during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The medal was presented by the Vice-Chancellor of La Trobe University, Professor John Dewar, who graciously acknowledged the hard work and commitment of each recipient to their respective fields. Receiving this award was indeed a memorable experience and one that I'm incredibly grateful for.
